Feeding The Homeless

The Longest Cuban Sandwich in the world measured 365 Ft. 
​The sandwich was donated to a homeless Veteran Shelter and fed almost 800 homeless people!

Goal of event successful:  

When the Sandwich was done, we were able to donate the sandwich to a veterans recovery homeless shelter – New Beginnings, and that sandwich fed over 800 homeless veterans!

Thank you to Hillsborough County Commissioner Donna Cameron Cepeda for presenting us with a commendation! 
VIP/Celebrity Judges included. 

LOCAL LEADERS PLUS Commissioner Donna Cameron-Cepeda, Linda Hurtado, Leo Alvarez, Tampa Bay Buccaneers Legend: Martin Gramatica Bucs Kicker 1994-2004. Superbowl XXXVII Champion, and Buccaneers, and Chief Operating Officer, Brian Ford. 
Community leaders and West Tampa Residents united to help make a 365 FOOT SANDWICH. 
​The Goal was 360 Feet – the size of a Football field, but we were able to make the sandwich a little bigger.  The event was held at the BUCS TRAINING FACILITIES, with the assistance of Buccaneer Admin, Players and team members.  The sandwich was donated to New Beginnings.
